Trisha Hautéa is an educator, activist, and artist born and based in New York City. She utilizes her multidisciplinary background in fine arts, environmental studies, and political science; influencing much of her work as an advocate for educational accessibility. In her spare time she works on her venture, Project Aida, and to close the diversity representation gap in children's books with her colleague, LittleNingBooks. Her illustrated book, Pepper Zhang: Artist Extraordinaire! was featured on multiple media outlets, including NPR, HuffPost, NextShark, NowThis, Upworthy, Konbini, Bustle, and more. For now, she draws her dreams.

Trisha holds both a BFA and MAT from Tufts University and a MBA from the new online platform, Smartly Institute. She previously worked for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Personal Genetics Education Project of Harvard Medical School's Department of Genetics under the Wu Lab, and is an affiliate of the institutions. /
