Lorna Maza is a self-taught artist based in Houston, Texas. Maza graduated from Saint Louis College (now Saint Louis University) in the Philippines with a BS in Commerce, having no formal art training other than her art classes in elementary and high school. In addition to painting, she likes collecting and turning seemingly worthless items into unique works of art. She has created artwork made from materials such as chocolate wrappers, used stamps, stones, strings, broken beads, and even crab shells. She continues to develop her skills and acquire new styles and techniques as she continues to paint.
