Les Talusan, also known as The Pinstriped Rebel, is a photographer and DJ based in the Washington D.C. area. She has photographed for organizations such as the National Coalition for the Asian Pacific American Community Development and the Sikh American Legal Defense & Education Fund. Her photography has been featured in Time and NBC News.
Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Les fell in love with music at a young age, DJing at local clubs and playing in bands. Since moving to D.C. at age 20, she has continued to develop her talents, performing behind the decks in the U.S. and abroad. Les has DJed for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, National Geographic Channel, Smithsonian Folklife Festival, and she is currently a resident DJ at Marx Café. Les has been featured in the Washington Post and Refinery29.
