Justine Kelley is a printmaker, illustrator, and designer based in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Tyler School of Art with a BFA in Printmaking and currently works at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Public Programs, collaborating with artists to develop rich, hands-on programs in conjunction with the museum's collection and exhibitions. She has recently shown work at Fleisher Art Memorial, Lather Hair Studio, and Second State Press. Most of her work is screen printed by hand. Her printed drawings explore everyday objects that surround us—spirits, plants, animals, and technology—things doing things; things on top of other things; plants growing how they want to; people doing what they want to. Her prints celebrate life, the darkness and lightness; something to hold onto but never too precious.
