Clarence Chun is a painter born in Tacloban and currently living between Manila, Philippines and Honolulu, Hawaii. He received his MFA from the School of Visual Arts and BFA from the University of Houston. He was an Ellen Battell Stoeckel Fellow at Yale University. 

Clarence's work was exhibited at the National Museum of the Philippines; Jones Contemporary Art Center, Texas; and Honolulu Museum of Art, Hawaii. He participated in the Honolulu Museum of Art Artists of Hawaii 2013 Biennale and was selected as the John Young Foundation Awardee. Other selected exhibits include the Ayala Museum Artist Space, Blanc Gallery, Vinyl on Vinyl Gallery, Gallery Big, Mono8 Gallery, and Artery Art Space.
